Internship Opportunity In Product Control For Electric Vehicles

Within production planning, we control all new vehicle projects of our Mercedes-Benz Cars brand worldwide. Together with our production areas (e.g., body shop, surface, assembly, logistics), we ensure that future vehicles can be produced in our plants worldwide. In this context, we represent the interests and concerns of all production areas, especially towards the adjacent development and design areas, and actively influence the vehicles of tomorrow already in the early development phase.

As part of your internship in the electric vehicle project control, you will work closely with colleagues from product control and participate in daily business. You will actively work with us on product-related topics and work on sub-projects independently. You will also receive exciting and varied insights into other topics of project control as well as the overall standardization of project management methods.

The cross-departmental cooperation with process partners such as production planning, development, quality management, and logistics will round off your internship.

You can expect, among other things, the following tasks:

• Active participation in product-related topics and the representation of a coordinated production opinion in the overall project
• Independent processing of sub-projects / product topics
• Preparation of decision-making documents for management
• Development of existing project management methods and processes
• Coordination as well as preparation and follow-up of coordination meetings, committees, and workshops with the areas of planning, development, and production
• Planning, development, and production

The position can start in September 2026.

Qualifications:

• Course of study in the field of economic engineering, vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, or something similar
• Fluent German language skills in speech and writing
• Secure handling of MS-Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Commitment and team capability
• Analytical thinking and strategic working method
• Proactive, independent working method
• High affinity to motor vehicles
