The Havens Group has partnered with a leading industrial manufacturing company to identify an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering, maintenance, electrical, mechanical, welding, and technical operations within a high-volume production facility located in Empire, Louisiana.
This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys driving reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the plant. Opportunity for an exceptional performance-driven bonus for high performers.
What You'll Be Responsible For
• Lead all engineering, maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and welding functions across the facility.
• Drive equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and plant performance to maximize uptime and operational efficiency.
• Manage capital projects from planning through execution while maintaining budgets, schedules, and project deliverables.
• Partner with Production, EHS, Quality, and Operations to improve processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business objectives.
• Develop and track KPIs related to downtime, maintenance performance, labor utilization, and equipment reliability.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering and maintenance team while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience preferred)
• 7–10+ years of engineering or maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Minimum of 3 years leading engineering and maintenance teams
• Experience managing capital projects, preventative maintenance programs, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, SAP PM, and Microsoft Office is preferred
