Mechanical Design Engineer - Building Services

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing MEP (Building Services) team based in our Plymouth office.

You will lead the day-to-day technical delivery of electrical design services on multi-disciplinary building projects and oversee the production of high-quality design deliverables, including specifications, drawings and schedules.

You will support the commercial success of your projects through timely invoicing, WIP management and workload/resource planning.

You will mentor junior team members, including graduates and apprentices, and play a key role in their career development.

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the UK, ideally with a track record of delivering both electrical and M&E solutions across varied building sectors.
• Familiarity with BIM processes and tools including Revit.
• A collaborative mindset and experience working closely with architects and multidisciplinary teams.

• A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters) in Mechanical Engineering or building services.
• Chartered status or working towards it.
