Research And Development In E/E Integration Compact Cars And Core BEV

The Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With the Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest providers of premium and luxury cars and vans.

Our tasks are the coordination and execution of vehicle tests, as well as coordination regarding powertrain, chassis, electrical/electronics, and exterior/interior under overall vehicle aspects up to series approval.

During the entire development phase, the current quality status of the vehicle is compared with the series and project quality goals and, where necessary, measures are initiated.

Our team E/E primarily accompanies the developments of the new vehicle platform MMA in the field of electrical/electronics. This includes mainly the areas of telematics, connectivity, Mercedes Me, on-board network, and measurement technology.

These challenges come among others to you:

• Commissioning and supporting conversion work on prototypes and test vehicles
• Processing of planning lists/tables on technical vehicle contents with MS Office
• Planning and configuration of vehicle measurement technology such as, for example, workshop planning for installation/removal, as well as reading and storing of measurement data
• Basic vehicle diagnostic activities such as reading out error memory and further processing of data
• Support in vehicle updates (software side) by updating the control units using on-board diagnostics including coding

The activity can start from September 2026.

Qualifications:

• Study of engineering sciences, preferably in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable course of study
• Secure German and English language skills in speech and writing
• Secure handling of MS-Office
• Commitment and team capability
• Analytical thinking and strategic working method
• Agile working method due to daily new challenges
• Practical experience in the fields of vehicle technology, mechatronics or similar is desirable
• Driving license class B
