In the corporate research & Mercedes-Benz Cars development, we shape the automotive generations of the future. We mean innovative products with the highest quality and efficient development processes. We are already working on vehicles that will secure the technology leadership of Daimler AG in the future.
In the Pre-Integration Telematics department, we are responsible for the assurance of the overall system Connected Telematics for all vehicle generations, i.e. we integrate components such as displays, control elements, head units, communication modules and offboard systems into a customer-ready overall system in the vehicle.
These challenges come to you, among others:
- Provision and development of test infrastructure (HW/SW) in laboratory setups as well as vehicles
- Compilation of a corresponding telematics part release
- Provision of components (HW/SW)
- Creation of various test configurations in the laboratory
- Maintenance of telematics laboratory setups
- Updating of telematics components based on a predefined configuration
- Conducting of system tests and customer-near tests in the telematics laboratory and in the test vehicle
- Creation of test statistics based on a defect database
The activity can start in September 2026.
Qualifications
- Degree with a focus on IT, electrical engineering/electronics or comparable courses
- Secure German and English language skills in speech and writing
- Secure handling of MS-Office
- Engagement and team capability
- Analytical way of thinking and strategic working method
- Strong implementation and solution orientation
