Our department Gesamtfahrzeugversuch Large-Cars MB.EA-L is responsible for the digital tests and worldwide tests of prototypes in the large-cars segment of Mercedes-Benz.
In the team Digitale Absicherung & Datenmanagement, we control the digital tests of all Mercedes-Benz vehicles in early development phases and are responsible for the development and optimization of our digital simulation methods in the overall vehicle context.
These challenges come to you, among others:
- Preparation and execution of overall vehicle tests to compare simulation results
- Support in the provision of vehicle-specific development data (e.g., CAD data, suspension data, etc.) for the overall vehicle simulation
- Evaluation of tests and simulations to optimize simulation methods
- Support in the setup and provision of measurement technology for the vehicle
- Evaluation and analysis of measurement data from test drives
- Collaboration in the interdisciplinary working environment of the overall vehicle test
The activity can start in October 2026.
Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, vehicle technology, mechatronics, etc.)
- Enthusiasm for vehicles and innovations
- Secure German and English language skills in speech and writing
- Secure handling of MS-Office
- Engagement and team capability
- Analytical mindset and strategic working method
- Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python, Matlab, etc.) desirable
