Research And Development Internship In Bordnetzsysteme & Funktionen

The team Bordnetz Systeme & Funktionen is responsible for the system and software function development in the on-board network for all passenger car series and all E/E architectures (Electrics/Electronics).
Our goal is to offer the customer the greatest possible energy availability in the vehicle with simultaneous optimal component protection, efficient operating point, and minimal resource use.
Your tasks
As an intern, you will support the system and software function development and gain insights into various on-board network and supply architectures.
Your tasks in detail:
- Support in the creation and maintenance of system architecture diagrams (e.g., block definition diagrams, internal block diagrams, state charts)
- Contribution to model-based system development processes (MBSE)
- Modeling of system structures and behavior in an architecture tool (e.g., IBM Rhapsody)
- Analysis and documentation of system requirements
- Creation and further development of architectures and models
- Creation of presentations and technical documentation
The activity can start in September 2026.
Qualifications
- Study in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or a comparable course of study
- Very good German and English language skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- First experience in the automotive sector is advantageous
- Basic knowledge of system architecture, MBSE, and requirements engineering
- First experience with IBM Rhapsody, SysML, or UML is desirable
- Team and communication skills
- Self-initiative, independence, and sense of responsibility
- Excellent abstractive ability and structured working method
