Production Internship At Mercedes-Benz Werk Sindelfingen

In the Guard Factory at the Sindelfingen site, S-Class vehicles are produced that meet the highest demands worldwide in terms of safety, exclusivity, and craftsmanship. Here, state-of-the-art production technologies combine with unique know-how and genuine manufactory work. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to accompany the emergence of a new vehicle generation from the very beginning and actively shape it.

During your internship, you will work closely with our experts from production, planning, logistics, quality, and development. You will support exciting projects around the production start of future Guard vehicles, analyze and optimize processes, contribute to innovative manufacturing and digitalization concepts, and gain comprehensive insights into the project management of a highly specialized vehicle manufactory.

Your tasks:

  • Support in the preparation and control of vehicle launches
  • Collaboration in the planning and optimization of production and assembly processes
  • Taking over your own work packages within ongoing optimization and project tasks
  • Supporting the team in current projects in the production environment of the Mercedes-Benz Guard Manufactory
  • Analysis and evaluation of production-related key figures
  • Collaboration in digitalization and innovation projects
  • Creation of presentations, evaluations, and decision templates for management
  • Support in cross-departmental coordination with development, logistics, quality, and production

The position can start in September 2026.

Qualifications:

  • Field of study:
    Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Technical Management or comparable course of study
  • Analytical and structured working method
  • Interest in production processes and project management
  • Self-initiative as well as communication and team skills
  • Secure handling of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Secure German and English language skills in speech and writing
