Your impact
THIS POSITION IS A REGULAR, PART-TIME POSITION:
Regular, part-time staff are hired to work either full or part-time for specific projects and limited periods of time and fulfill temporary workload requirements. The employee is eligible for participation in specific but, limited benefit programs. This position requires computer (provided by Jacobs) communications and reporting.
Position is for domestic and international work.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate shall be able to manipulate and create explosives safety site planner databases and be competent in ESRI Arc Map 10.7.
Jacobs requires highly motivated, result-oriented employees who can work independent of direct management, implement written plans, and ensure a safe workplace. This position require 19-plus years of experience working with graphical information systems data.
Here's what you'll need
- Satisfactory completion of DOD/DOJ Security Background Check or National Agency Check (NAC)
- Maintaining munitions related qualifications, training, and associated certifications/licenses
- Passing an annual medical physical and qualifying for operations in OSHA Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Levels A, B, C, and D
- Valid State Drivers License
- Ability to obtaining ATF Employee Possessor or Responsible Person Certification
- Management activities (project, schedule, budgets, costs)

- Operational planning and implementation of technical approaches and risk controlled methodologies

In the capacity of a Explosives Safety Planner the candidate shall be competent, experienced, and proficient at implementing the duties and responsibilities of the assigned position as required to prepare DWESO and foreign country approved explosives safety site plans.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 19 plus years of manipulation of GIS data
- Proficiency in Explosives Safety Siting Application, Automated Site Planner, Version 6.1.4 or later.

The base salary range for this position is $98,900.00 to $; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
