Locate Technician

• Utilize advanced observational skills and deductive reasoning to identify, locate, and mark all utilities within the specified job scope.
• Possess troubleshooting skills and be willing and able to learn new procedures and technologies.
• Mark ALL facilities regardless of ownership or type, including sewer, electric, abandoned facilities, chemical transport, and other exotic utilities.
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude while working on various utility projects.

• Must have at least 1 year of private locating experience with a demonstrated commitment to quality and attention to detail or 2 years of public locating experience with exposure to multiple utility types
• Experience reading CAD, GIS, and Micro Station files is a plus
• Candidates must be able to pass a ‘fit to work’ physical examination
• Over time, after-hours work and be available for some overnight travel
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain a professional and positive attitude

Demonstrates expertise in utility locating with a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail. Proficient in reading CAD, GIS, and Micro Station files while maintaining a professional demeanor in various utility projects.
