Position: Lee Hills Cinema 6 - Team Member
Location: Leesville

Description

Team members are classified based on theatre needs and employee availability as variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular or full‑time hourly. Their primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Scheduled duties include working in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. Team members act as Regal representatives in line with the mission statement and policies.

  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Handling of emergency situations when called upon to do so.
  • General cleaning duties.
  • Compliance with company dress code.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Box Office
  • Operating POS system, including proper handling and responsibility for accuracy of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons.
  • Upselling/suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
  • Promoting the Regal Crown Club program.
  • Ensuring tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
  • Responding to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner consistent with our guest service philosophy.
Concession
  • Operating POS system, handling cash, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed coupons, and managing concession stock inventory.
  • Promoting the Regal Crown Club program.
  • Operating, preparing, and cleaning all concession equipment.
  • Upselling/Suggestive selling.
  • Complying with all local, state and federal food safety laws.
  • Abiding by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and/or meal periods.
  • Ensuring required alcohol certification and training are current where applicable.
  • If the theatre sells alcohol, duties will include selling/serving and the applicant must be of legal age per state or local laws.
  • Required to read and understand training materials covering sexual harassment and discrimination.
Usher
  • Tickets tearing, collecting, depositing stubs, guiding patrons to auditoriums.
  • Inspecting backpacks and packages when applicable.
  • Managing crowd control and assisting guests in locating seats.
  • Enforcing MPAA rating system.
  • Conducting in‑theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, watch for film or content theft, and maintain a safe environment.
  • Reporting problems, discrepancies or unusual situations to management.
  • Performing in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed.
  • Cleaning auditoriums after scheduled shows and maintaining restrooms, lobby, hallways and other areas.
  • Monitoring cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned.
Pay Scale Information

$9.00

Benefits

Qualifications
  • Completion of the cast certification program as a cast member and as a box office cashier (or progress toward completion).
  • Required alcohol certification and training for alcohol serving duties, including complete Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University, if applicable.
Language Ability

Good public speaking, effective listening, and clear and direct response.

Math Ability

Perform calculations with speed and accuracy; identify and correct errors.

Reasoning Ability

Identify problems, gather data, evaluate alternatives, reach conclusions based on evidence; take action beyond what is called for; perform under pressure and/or opposition.

Excellent communication with customers, co‑workers and management; establish goals, budget time, and set priorities to achieve desired objectives.

Physical Demands

Frequent standing, walking, sitting; use of hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with arms; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; occasional lifting up to 60 pounds; vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
