Description
Team members are classified based on theatre needs and employee availability as variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular or full‑time hourly. Their primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Scheduled duties include working in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. Team members act as Regal representatives in line with the mission statement and policies.
- Regular and consistent attendance.
- Handling of emergency situations when called upon to do so.
- General cleaning duties.
- Compliance with company dress code.
- Operating POS system, including proper handling and responsibility for accuracy of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons.
- Upselling/suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
- Promoting the Regal Crown Club program.
- Ensuring tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
- Responding to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner consistent with our guest service philosophy.
- Operating POS system, handling cash, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed coupons, and managing concession stock inventory.
- Promoting the Regal Crown Club program.
- Operating, preparing, and cleaning all concession equipment.
- Upselling/Suggestive selling.
- Complying with all local, state and federal food safety laws.
- Abiding by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and/or meal periods.
- Ensuring required alcohol certification and training are current where applicable.
- If the theatre sells alcohol, duties will include selling/serving and the applicant must be of legal age per state or local laws.
- Required to read and understand training materials covering sexual harassment and discrimination.
- Tickets tearing, collecting, depositing stubs, guiding patrons to auditoriums.
- Inspecting backpacks and packages when applicable.
- Managing crowd control and assisting guests in locating seats.
- Enforcing MPAA rating system.
- Conducting in‑theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, watch for film or content theft, and maintain a safe environment.
- Reporting problems, discrepancies or unusual situations to management.
- Performing in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed.
- Cleaning auditoriums after scheduled shows and maintaining restrooms, lobby, hallways and other areas.
- Monitoring cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
- Assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned.

Qualifications- Completion of the cast certification program as a cast member and as a box office cashier (or progress toward completion).
- Required alcohol certification and training for alcohol serving duties, including complete Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University, if applicable.
Good public speaking, effective listening, and clear and direct response.
