Job Description

Summary :
The Birthday Party Attendant is the host and Park liaison for party patrons. The primary role of this position is to ensure an excellent experience for all birthday party guests by providing safe, clean venues and friendly service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Constantly communicates with the Birthday Party Host to ensure top-notch customer service.
• Ensures that all birthday party locations are cleaned and set up for each party and cleaned afterward in preparation for the next day.
• Mops, sweeps, and moves tables and chairs between birthday party areas.
• Delivers food, drink, and any additional materials to birthday party guests.
• Greets and constantly has a visible presence in the assigned birthday party area to attend to the party hosts and party guests.
• Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown ofspecial eventsand seasonal activities within the Amusements Department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Preferred High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk, use hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Working weekends, some evenings, and holidays is mandatory. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, chemicals such as cleaning liquids, outside weather conditions, and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold, vibration, wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually the norm for an outdoor environment, with occasional elevated levels of sound during special events.

This is a seasonal, part-time position that requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
