Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounting Manager or Controller (DOE) to add to our team!

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain budgeting and forecasting systems, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals.
• Prepare accurate and timely journal entries, ensuring the integrity of financial data.
• Review financial data for accuracy, correctness, and completeness.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
• Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and payable departments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize the financial output of the company.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred.
• Proficient in multiple ERPs + Advanced Excel skills.
