Location: Bermuda
Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Work across the Actuarial team, as time permits, to prepare, analyse and evaluate data, providing insights to the team and the business generally
- Support the Reserving team with reserving analysis, production of reports and various Committee papers
- Work with the Reserving team to understand the reserving models and be able to update models and key parameters
- Bachelor's, or Postgraduate, Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other relevant numerate subject
- Progress towards an Actuarial Qualification such as FIA / FIAA / FCAS / FCIA would be an asset
- Experience of working in the P&C industry preferred, ideally with prior knowledge of pricing, reserving and capital modelling
- Good understanding, with some experience preferably, of statistical and mathematical techniques applicable to the Property & Casualty (P&C") (re) insurance industry
- Familiarity with third-party actuarial software an advantage, e.g. ResQ, HX, Igloo, Tyche, Radar would be an advantage
