Sales Tax Analyst

Location: New Orleans

A company is looking for a Sales Tax Analyst responsible for maintaining compliance with sales tax regulations and managing related processes.

Key Responsibilities Maintain and optimize the sales tax automation platform and manage sales tax registrations Engage with customers to manage sales tax certification processes and resolve disputes Prepare and process sales tax returns and ensure accurate order management data validation

Required Qualifications

Experience with sales tax platforms such as Avalara and ERP systems like Net Suite Strong understanding of sales tax regulations and exemption processes Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred Experience in customer outreach and managing sales tax-related inquiries Ability to collaborate with third-party providers for sales tax returns processing
