Key Responsibilities
  • You will independently identify and elevate issues to ensure that tax returns, tax research, and accounting projects are completed timely and accurately.
  • Oversee day-to-day tax processes, manage client relationships, and support team development.
  • Conduct tax projects and provide recommendations based on research and thorough analysis.
  • Lead the preparation and review of complex tax/accounting compliance matters with minimal supervision.
  • Continue developing your knowledge of tax law and EY resources, serving as a trusted advisor to multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Preparation of financial closings, tax compliance filings, and related analyses.
  • Compilation and evaluation of data, computations, and documentation.
  • Management of client relations and team performance, offering implementation suggestions.
  • Leadership in engagements ensuring service quality and risk management.
  • Participation in business development presentations and calls.
  • Documentation of processes to support both clients and internal teams.
  • Technical expertise in specific offerings while broadening skills across areas.
  • Providing guidance and coaching to team members.
  • Mentoring team members to enhance their technical and leadership skills.
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lead projects independently while guiding and advising financial specialists.
  • Expertise in managing client relations and communication across various teams.
  • Ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients, effectively catering to their needs.
  • Experience managing deliverables and ensuring timely service delivery while maintaining quality standards.
To Qualify for This Role You Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
  • CPA, EA, or licensed attorney status.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a professional services or tax organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with financial and tax applications relevant to your specialization.
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
  • Excellent analytical skills and adaptability in working with diverse teams.
