** Job Description Summary
** Serve as a top subject matter expert within the External Reporting group performing accounting, financial reporting and analysis functions in the preparation and filing of financial reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Apply financial knowledge and judgment to activities that are diverse and complex to validate the integrity and accuracy of SEC filings.
** Job Description
**** Responsibilities
* ** Utilize subject matter expertise to lead the preparation, review, and filing of periodic SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and other required filings. Coordinate the timely submission of filings within regulatory deadlines.
* Review and perform analytics in the preparation of financial statements to ensure consistency and accuracy across all financial statements and disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. Ensure accuracy of eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) tagging in financial statements.
* Deliver a higher level of financial reporting expertise to aid in solving problems in unique ways.
* Lead interactions with external auditors, including managing audits, addressing auditor inquiries and providing proper documentation for disclosures.
* Collaborate with management to maintain and enhance disclosure controls and procedures to ensure high-quality reporting. Act as a processes owner to support and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
* Recommend and lead implementation of changes to processes to achieve efficiencies through the use of technology.
