** Job Summary      Responsible for leading and managing a key functional area within United Overseas Bank Ltd, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the achievement of business objectives.

Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives in alignment with the bank's overall goals.
Oversee and manage daily operations within the assigned department or business unit, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Manage financial budgets, resources, and performance metrics to achieve optimal results.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with business operations and regulatory requirements.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulators.
Drive innovation and process improvements to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
Represent the bank in internal and external forums as required.
Prepare and present reports to senior management on performance, progress, and strategic recommendations.
Job Qualifications
Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in the banking or financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of success in managing complex projects, teams, and achieving business targets.
Strong understanding of financial products, markets, and regulatory environments.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or relevant Master's degree is highly preferred.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
