We are recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Electrophysiology Medical Devices team at our Plymouth, MN location.
The role supports the new product development team in establishing product cost targets, cost analysis, reporting, and ad‑hoc analysis requested from leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Provides cost planning, analysis and reporting to management for new product introduction, including projecting production cost for labor, material and yield, maintaining and updating cost models, partnering with new product development managers to develop, monitor target cost and providing variance analysis.
- Provides timely and accurate reporting to management leveraging finance systems knowledge and business operations familiarity.
- Based on reporting and analysis, make recommendations to finance management to save costs, scale for the future and maintain data accuracy.
- Provides monthly reporting to finance department leadership relating to new product introduction financial impact.
- Serves as finance subject expert for new product costing and leads special projects as assigned by finance management.
- Executes reporting based on pre-established schedules for monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field.
- 4+ years of experience performing month‑end close activities, financial and variance analysis, and/or forecasting in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Demonstrated experience working with financial system applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.
- Working knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and/or SAP.
- Ability to work effectively and with flexibility under uncertainty and changing priorities.
$78,000.00 – $ (may vary by location).
