The New Orleans Municipal Yacht Harbor is Hiring a Yacht Harbor Fiscal Manager. This is a City of New Orleans Classified position, salary ~$70K. The role will start November 2026.
Kind of WorkResponsible administrative and supervisory work in directing the overall fiscal operations of the Municipal Yacht Harbor, including rentals, leases, purchases and budgetary operations. Work includes managing the business office functions of the Municipal Yacht Harbor. Responsibilities include budget preparation and control; accounting; billing and collection of fees; fiscal control of contracts; preparation of financial statements, statistical reports, and completing special projects;
and related work as required.
- Knowledge of Quick Books.
- Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations.
- Ability to perform Monthly closing.
- Ability to perform Financial Statement presentation.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable.
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable - Invoicing and collection.
- Ability to perform Balance Sheet reconciliations including prepaid expenses.
* OR a Bachelor's Degree in any field with at least twenty-four (24) semester hours of accounting and/or finance coursework.
