Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist

A Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist is responsible for preparing and reviewing commercial loan documentation. This role ensures that loan documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with internal policies, regulatory requirements and loan approval terms.

• Prepare and review commercial loan documents, including real estate loans, for all bank market areas.
• Ensures loan documentation is in compliance with loan approvals, bank policy and state and federal regulations.
• Review documentation for title work, appraisals, environmental reports, flood certificates and UCC searches for various loan types.
• Work with Relationship Managers for proper documentation of commercial loans.
• Work closely with Closing Attorneys and Relationship Managers on attorney prepared loans to verify accuracy of loan terms and documents.
• Ensure accuracy of various loan coding for proper loan reporting.

• 2+ years of commercial loan documentation experience.
• General knowledge of commercial loan products and documentation.
• Previous experience with Laser Pro, preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Possesses multi-tasking skills and function well under pressure.
• Openness to wearing multiple hats and being a team player.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships among team members.
• Present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether verbally or written.
