Job Title: Mortgage Loan Processor II

Location: New Orleans or Lafayette
Salary Range: $45,000 - $75,000 per year
Job Overview:
Reliant Mortgage LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Mortgage Loan Processor II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in processing mortgage loans and be familiar with industry regulations. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a smooth and efficient loan process for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Review loan applications and supporting documents to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Verify borrower information and documentation
- Order and review credit reports, appraisals, and title reports
- Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and other parties involved in the loan process
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies
- Prepare loan files for underwriting and closing
- Update loan information in the company's system and track loan progress
- Assist with resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the loan process
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
Bachelor's degree preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor
- Knowledge of mortgage loan processing procedures and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan processing software
