Pre-Award Analyst Senior

The Pre‑Award Analyst Senior is responsible for examining proposals to ensure adherence to sponsor guidelines, organizational policy, and applicable local, state, and federal laws. Handles proposal submission and related tasks, checks budget accuracy, obtains internal evaluations and permissions for regulatory compliance, and documents collaboration agreements.

• Communicate with sponsor representatives during the pre‑award phase.
• Verify that applications have complete files and obtain missing data from handlers.
• Follow up with investigators to track application progress with respect to evaluation and financing.
• Coordinate budget development evaluations as necessary.
• Stay current on sponsor terms and conditions for applying and managing grant awards.
• Maintain understanding of federal rules and regulations governing research funds.
• Help plan and execute outreach initiatives such as workshops, seminars, and pre‑award training programs.

• Required:
  
  5 years of related experience.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Does not formally supervise employees.
