Position Summary:The Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist 2 is responsible for assisting the relationship managers in developing, documenting loan documents, and closing of the commercial loan portfolio, while ensuring that each loan is compliant with loan policy and regulatory requirements as well as contributing to meeting department goals and objectives.
This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for overtime pay.
This position may be filled at a lower or higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
Required Qualifications , Competencies, andSkills:
GED or High school diploma
4 years of experience in commercial loan operations
Working knowledge of loan and regulatory policy and procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
Knowledge/experience with:

Skills:
Bachelor's degree in related business field or 5 years of related/comparable experience
Knowledge/Experience with: FCM, nCino, Horizon
Prepare moderately complex commercial and small business loan documentation in accordance with approved credit package to ensure proper lien completion and compliance
Research various public and private sources to ensure the legal status and identification of entities, collateral location and liens
Review and verify information on commercial entity structure, including but not limited to, any Corporation, LLC, Partnership, Trust
Perform UCC searches, understanding how existing liens may affect the Bank's lien and how to properly perfect a security interest in UCC collateral
File UCC filings online in accordance with UCC requirements
Review title commitments and ensure all exceptions have been addressed or omitted
Recognize exception issues and collaborate with lenders to resolve
Processes re-amortization and other loan modifications, including Change in Terms documentation
Work in collaborations with Commercial Loan Operations team involving aspects of commercial booking and post-closing
Review exceptions items submitted and clear them from the Bank's loan exceptions report
Coordinate with outside counsel for any requests requiring attorney prepared documents
Identify and resolve, or escalate, complex problems with minimal guidance
