Mortgage Loan Officer

Zillow is seeking a Remote Mortgage Loan Officer to guide borrowers through the digital home financing process. You'll manage inbound leads from Zillow's marketplace, pre-qualify borrowers, analyze credit and income, structure loan options, and recommend suitable mortgage products. Collaborating with underwriting, processing, and real estate partners, you'll ensure accurate, compliant files and on-time closings. You'll use Zillow's technology, CRM, and data tools to track pipelines, maintain detailed records, and deliver responsive, customer-first support in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to inbound mortgage leads from Zillow's marketplace
• Pre-qualify borrowers by reviewing credit, income, assets, and liabilities
• Recommend appropriate mortgage products and structures based on borrower goals
• Prepare, submit, and track complete and accurate loan files
• Collaborate with underwriting, processing, and real estate partners to ensure timely closings
• Use CRM and Zillow tools to manage pipeline and maintain detailed records
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor lending regulations
• Communicate proactively with borrowers throughout the loan process
• Analyze data to optimize conversion rates and customer experience
• Work effectively in a fully remote, fast-paced environment
