Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Financial Compliance
Are you a compliance professional with experience in anti‑money laundering and financial crime prevention who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast paced environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Compliance Administrator to join our Risk & Compliance function, supporting Mourant Governance Services (MGS) and the MGS Funds Services business. In this role, you will work closely with Compliance and business teams to support client entity monitoring, reporting and regulatory compliance activities.
You'll contribute to the ongoing development of AML/CFT frameworks, help ensure regulatory obligations are met and support a strong culture of compliance across the business.
In this role, you'll:
- Support the client entity MLCO and MLRO with day to day compliance monitoring, reporting and administration activities across a range of client entities.
- Assist with monitoring and testing the effectiveness of AML/CFT systems and controls using a risk based approach.
- Prepare and maintain AML manuals, risk assessments and other compliance documentation.
- Assist with drafting regulatory reporting and board reporting for client entities.
- Monitor regulatory developments and maintain regulatory correspondence, updates logs and key compliance registers.
- Conduct investor and customer periodic reviews in line with AML/CFT policies and procedures, ensuring reviews are completed within required time frames.
- Reassess client and investor risk ratings and ensure customer due diligence information remains accurate and up to date.
- Support the ongoing development and enhancement of AML/CFT regulatory processes and controls.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Risk & Compliance, Business Services teams and the wider business to embed effective risk management practices.
- Assist with key compliance initiatives and projects as required.
- Experience working in an AML, Compliance or Financial Crime role supporting a regulated Trust Company Business and/or Funds Services business.
- Demonstrable knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, compliance monitoring activities and customer due diligence requirements.
- Experience supporting the implementation, testing and maintenance of compliance systems, controls, policies and procedures.
- Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and accurate compliance documentation and reports.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new systems, digital applications and workflows.
- A degree in a relevant discipline would be advantageous.
