Job Description & How to Apply Below

Mission

Own the supply side of OWN's mortgage market: convert capital-provider interest into committed, deployable funding for individual loans and repeatable programs. Tactically, fund the first deals with DeFi credit funds, stablecoin funds, protocol treasuries, and crypto-native lenders. Strategically, build durable capacity with family offices, retail banks, mortgage lenders, private credit firms, and structured-finance partners. You own capital formation from mandate qualification through structure, diligence, term sheet, and deployment.

Deal Flow owns the borrower pipeline;
Underwriting owns credit assessment and recommendations. If a partner both originates and funds loans, ownership follows the function:
Deal Flow owns borrower and file supply;
Funding owns committed or purchased capital.

Core Responsibilities
  • Build one funding strategy and two distinct pipelines: near-term pilot capital and long-term institutional capacity.
  • Qualify each mandate precisely: ticket size, deployment pace, currency or stablecoin, duration, pricing, collateral appetite, leverage, liquidity, jurisdiction, diligence, reporting, and approval process.
  • Structure individual-loan funding, pilot pools, forward-flow agreements, warehouse or credit facilities, participations, whole-loan sales, SPVs, private placements, and co-investment vehicles.
  • Assemble and position lender-ready materials from Deal Flow and Underwriting-owned inputs: pipeline data, Underwriting-approved policy, collateral framework and credit memos, loan tapes, servicing workflow, default and cure logic, portfolio reporting, and lender protections.
  • Own the capital-provider process from outreach and data room through diligence, commercial negotiation, term sheet, documentation, and first deployment.
  • Work with Deal Flow on pipeline fit and funding visibility; surface lender constraints to Underwriting, which independently owns credit criteria, exceptions, covenants, portfolio limits, and conclusions.
  • Work with legal and compliance on lender eligibility, distribution language, placement activity, lending structure, and regulatory perimeter.
  • Maintain a decision-useful funding CRM: mandate, potential capacity, stage, objections, diligence requests, decision makers, probability, next step, and deployment timing.
Tactical Funding
  • Source DeFi credit funds, stablecoin funds, onchain RWA allocators, protocol and DAO treasuries, and crypto-native lending desks.
  • Match capital to early loans or pilot pools and resolve the execution details that determine whether it can deploy: custody, stablecoin, settlement, smart-contract risk, collateral monitoring, reporting, and legal wrapper.
  • Convert exploratory interest into executable terms, committed amounts, and a funded first transaction.
Strategic Funding
  • Build relationships with family offices, retail banks and mortgage lenders acting as balance-sheet or loan-purchase capital providers, private credit firms, private banks, wealth platforms, and real-estate debt investors.
  • Convert one-off allocations into programmatic capacity with clear deployment, eligibility, replenishment, and reporting mechanics.
  • Make a new onchain mortgage product legible to conservative credit committees without presenting it as a crypto trade.
  • Standardize diligence, reporting, servicing, covenant, and portfolio-monitoring requirements so funding can scale beyond one-off deals.
Must Have
  • 7+ years in mortgage finance, real-estate debt, private credit, bank lending, structured finance, debt capital markets, crypto credit, stablecoin lending, or capital formation for financial products.
  • Direct experience closing debt funding, loan purchase, liquidity, or structured-credit transactions; introductions alone are not enough.
  • Strong understanding of LTV, collateral, mortgage mechanics, loan tapes, covenants, lender diligence, servicing, portfolio reporting, and credit committee expectations.
  • Ability to qualify a capital mandate, shape an executable structure, negotiate economics, and drive the process through documentation and deployment.
  • Existing relationships in at least one target capital segment and the range to build credibility across both crypto-native and traditional funding markets.
Nice To Have
  • Direct DeFi, stablecoin fund, RWA, tokenization, crypto lending, or digital asset custody experience.
  • CEE real-estate finance or Czech mortgage-market experience.
  • Swiss family office, private-bank, or private-capital relationships.
  • Experience with warehouse facilities, forward-flow agreements,…
