Senior Financial Analyst

The Corporate Treasury Team is looking to add a financial data analyst for the Pricing and Profitability Team. This highly visible role will serve as a critical link between Pricing and Profitability, Enterprise Data Management, Technology, business-line partners and third-party vendors. To be effective the analyst must be well-organized, detail-oriented, possess superior analytical and communications skills, and have a strong work ethic.

• Combining financial and analytical experience with a strong understanding of data, systems and business processes
• Developing business requirements, conducting data validation, coordinating user testing, and supporting system use and implementation for Pricing and Profitability team
• Identifying process, data and control gaps and driving practical solutions
• Understanding sophisticated high-volume technical data workflows, mapping and systems, to provide dedicated business-side expertise.
• Summarizing key findings and preparing succinct presentations for executives
• Meeting deadlines while independently taking initiative to drive complex projects to completion

This analyst on the Pricing and Profitability Team would be responsible for executing and cross-training across a variety of responsibilities such as:

• Sound understanding of the data and analytics, concepts, methodologies, and key assumptions used within the Pricing and Profitability Team.
• Serving as dedicated business side subject matter expert for data, systems and initiatives impacting Pricing and Profitability
• Help coordinate data mapping, user acceptance testing, implementation readiness and new system enhancements and integrations
• Maintain documentation of business rules, system dependencies, validation procedures and key controls for Pricing and Profitability
• Investigate banker-reported issues in Pricing and Profitability team owned systems and dependant systems, coordinating resolutions with internal partners and system owners
• Monitor issues and recommend improvements to processes, controls, data quality and user experience
• Assist Corporate Treasury Team with strategic initiatives and other analytical projects as needed

• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree and/or certification such as CFA or CPA preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience in the banking industry (Finance, Operations, Technology, Data Management or Business Intelligence) preferred
• Ability to generate high-quality work product with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to summarize analysis and research clearly and concisely in verbal and written form
• Team orientated and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to self-identify process gaps and weaknesses
• Strong organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills to manage responsibilities described above
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required with Power BI, Visio, and VBA a plus.
• Experience with banking source systems and cloud platforms such as Salesforce, Databricks, etc.
• Experience with database reporting and programming tools such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
