Director Finance

Communicate with the Department of Energy Finance Department of the status of all deliverables and ongoing events.

Monitor and review the work of the Finance Managers Keep senior staff apprised of any financial data necessary in performing their functions.

Review headcount, computer hardware and software, training and office space requirements for the Finance Directorate.

Keep company financial data to incorporate into the DOE financial system monthly.

Participate in financial audits from Internal Auditors, Corporate Auditors, Inspector General auditors or outside auditors.

Monitor and review the monthly financial statements, financial forecast, cash flow and dividend payout.

Prepare and/or present Board of Manager reports and presentations including Fee outlook and financial forecast. Review annual budget submission and monthly reporting of execution of the budget.

Identify, analyze and resolve problems relating to financial data, systems or reporting.

Conduct business in an ethical manner, in accordance with professional standards, and with a diligent commitment to quality, excellence, and teamwork.

Assure that appropriate and timely payments are made to employees and vendors within contractual requirements and following all DOE guidelines and local and federal laws.

Assure that all reporting requirements are met based on DOE requirements, local and federal laws and accounting guidelines.

Minimize the amount of unallowable cost incurred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related financial or business field and 12-15 years experience. Good oral and written communication skills essential. Strong financial analytical skills required. This position requires the incumbent to maintain a security clearance.

DESIRED:
Master's Degree, Government Contracting experience and Certified Public Accountant credential is highly desirable
