1803 Capital LLC dba Edge Financial Services is hiring a Director of Originations.
The Director of Originations is responsible for leading all loan origination activities for the company, including dealer development, dealer relations, application flow management, credit acquisition strategy, funding growth, and origination team performance. This position drives portfolio growth by developing strong dealer partnerships, optimizing application conversion rates, improving funding efficiency, and ensuring originations align with company credit, profitability, and risk objectives.
The Director of Originations serves as the primary leader for dealer acquisition and retention strategies while collaborating closely with Servicing, Compliance, and Executive Leadership to achieve organizational growth goals.

- Strong understanding of indirect auto lending and dealer operations.
- Knowledge of credit underwriting, funding, and loan origination processes.

- Ability to interpret production data and develop growth strategies.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Ability to work extended hours as business needs require.
- Weekend and holiday work is required when necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in auto finance, indirect lending, or consumer finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing origination, dealer relations, or sales teams.
- Demonstrated success growing dealer networks and funded loan volume.
- Experience working with subprime, near-prime, and non-prime auto finance programs preferred.
This position reports directly to the CEO.
This is an in-office position located in Metairie, Louisiana.
Base compensation will be between $100,000 - $135,000 annually. There will be an opportunity for an annual bonus of 25% - 50% of the base pay.
