Judicial Program Manager
Division of Children & Families - Louisiana Supreme Court
Position OverviewThe Louisiana Supreme Court is seeking a Judicial Program Manager to assist with all aspects of various statewide judicial programs and work on special projects within the Division of Children & Families. This may include program development, implementation, policy development, budgeting, research, reporting, and statewide coordination with courts and partner agencies. Reports directly to the Deputy Judicial Administrator—Children & Families. Work involves extensive contact with courts throughout the state and various governmental and community agencies and requires a thorough understanding of the state judicial branch.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate statewide judicial programs and special projects.
- Develop program goals, policies, procedures, and implementation plans.
- Monitor program budgets, activities, and performance measures.
- Prepare reports, presentations, grant proposals, and policy documents.
- Conduct legal and non-legal research and prepare written reports.
- Provide training and technical assistance to courts and program stakeholders.
- Serve as liaison with judges, court personnel, government agencies, and community organizations.
- Monitor changes in state and federal law and update program policies accordingly.
- Staff committees, work groups, and special initiatives related to assigned programs.
- Juris Doctor or Master’s degree in public administration, business administration, court administration, political science, social science, or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, court administration, political science, social science, or a related field plus seven (7) years of related experience.
- Experience working in a court or judicial system environment is a plus.
- Ability to travel statewide or out-of-state for conferences and meetings as needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
