The City of New Orleans is seeking an entry-level inspector to assist with coordinating code enforcement activities. You will interpret, apply, and enforce municipal codes covering zoning, land use, building, housing, dangerous buildings, inoperable vehicles, noise, litter, sanitation, weeds and other public nuisance provisions.
A valid driver’s license may be required for some positions. A written examination, weighted 100%, is the sole qualification.
