The City of New Orleans is seeking an entry-level Housing Inspector within the Safety & Permits division to help ensure compliance with minimum housing standards. The role will include inspecting dwellings and assisting with short-term rental compliance with city ordinances.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED; 60 college credits or 2 years of heavy public contact or enforcement experience. A driver's license may be required.
