ResponsibilitiesPerform patient assessments, administer medications and start intravenous lines, follow the directions of the medical provider, assist on the patient care unit and other hospital departments, and contribute to routine departmental checks and log maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.
What we're looking for in a Paramedic - Full TimeA Paramedic or Paramedic Specialist certification is a must. A current State of Iowa Paramedic Certification is required. Additional certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support are essential. PHTLS Certification is preferred.
