Ochsner Health -  -  - Responsibilities:
Greet patients and guests in person or by phone and facilitate scheduling and registration.;
Process patient check-in/admission and gather/verify demographic and financial information.;
Explain insurance benefits, collect co-pays/deductibles/self-pay and perform cash handling.;
Verify insurance eligibility through electronic, telephone, or web applications; ensure accurate patient records for reimbursement.;
Maintain confidentiality, comply with laws/regulations, and support multiple functions across patient and payer types.
