Role OverviewThe Environmental Services Manager in Training (MIT) will gain preparation for a future leadership role within the support services team. Through on‑site learning and Compass Group’s Accelerated Manager Program (AMP), MITs will develop best practices in operations management, safety, quality control, housekeeping, hiring, training, payroll, profit & loss, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Learn and apply environmental services operations management best practices.
- Participate in AMP and complete program learning objectives.
- Perform day‑to‑day environmental services activities, including cleaning, housekeeping, safety, quality control, and environmental compliance.
- Assist in staffing, training, and performance management of support staff.
- Maintain accurate operational performance data and reporting.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (required). Deadline:
June 2026. - One year of customer service or related experience (preferred). Internship or related work experience acceptable.
- Willingness to relocate for the right role or advancement opportunity.
- Financial acumen: profit & loss, inventory, and cash handling skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills: multi‑tasking, prioritizing, meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic understanding of contract administration and client relations.
- Basic knowledge of operating and maintenance instructions, safety regulations, codes, and use of departmental policy and procedure manuals.
- Mechanical inclination.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Driver’s License (required for transportation roles).
- Assessment and organizational training that surfaces and develops future leaders.
