Talkiatry Therapist Role

Talkiatry is a national mental health practice co‑founded by a patient and a certified psychiatrist. We aim to transform psychiatry with accessible, human, and responsible care. 60% of adults with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated each year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low and paperwork is burdensome.

We are seeking licensed therapists including LCSWs, LMFTs, LMHCs, LPCs, LCPCs, LPCCs, and counselors to provide high‑quality psychotherapy and coordinated care. 2 or more active independent state licenses required. Practice supervision is not provided.

• Provide best‑quality psychotherapy and coordinated care for patients.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and nurse practitioners to diagnose, manage, and treat patients using a wide variety of interventions and modalities.

• Work independently and as part of a dynamic behavioral health team.

• Utilize our integrated EMR and custom technology for patient messaging, progress tracking, and outcome insight.

• Demonstrated experience treating patients with anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.

• Excellent clinical knowledge, communication, and organizational skills.

• Willingness to obtain additional state licensure as requested; active and unrestricted state license.

• Technical proficiency and ability to learn new EMR tools.

• Commitment to high‑quality, accessible, and cost‑effective health care. Practice to the highest ethical standards in your discipline.
