Overview
The incumbent will be responsible for the overall administration of the Department of Counseling, guiding the Department toward achievement of its mission and vision. The incumbent will also serve as a department liaison to the students entering the Department of Counseling in the School of Allied Health Professions.

Doctorate;
Earned doctoral degree in counselor education, preferably from a CACREP‑accredited program - Discipline(s):
Counseling or related field - Certifications/Licenses Required
: 5 years as Licensed or licensed eligible LPC‑S in the state of Louisiana; a license or license eligible in a related field can also be considered - Minimum Experience
:
Teaching graduate level counseling courses in a CACREP accredited program; 3 years of direct patient care as a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner

Experience serving in an administrative role; teaching in a CACREP program; experience with CACREP and SACSCOC accreditation reporting; teaching (in person, hybrid, and remote learning); membership in national, regional, and state organizations
