Location: Maurice
C-Care is currently looking for an IP Pharmacy technician to be based at Wellkin Hospital, Moka.
The selected candidate will have below duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities- Provide customer service by answering patient questions and concerns as they arise
- Measure amounts of medicine for prescriptions
- Package, label and dispense prescriptions as per federal, state and local regulations
- Enter and maintain prescription information in our proprietary software
- Sterilize and maintain equipment and surfaces
- Update job knowledge by attending conventions and following publications
- 2-3 years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar position
- SC / HSC / Diploma
- Expertise in medication measurement and dosage
- Knowledge of basic terminology in pharmacology
- Knowledge of hospital safety procedures and patient rights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail
