LSU Health welcomes candidates with expertise in molecular epidemiology or cancer epidemiology. Desired skills include epidemiologic methods, cancer, infectious, social, and clinical epidemiology, informatics, or implementation science. Applicants should demonstrate extramural research funding and publications commensurate with their professional experience. Successful candidates will develop a competitive, independently funded research program, publish in leading journals, and advance health equity and public population health.
Responsibilities include advising and mentoring students, post‑doctoral fellows, and junior faculty scholars.

Minimum Qualifications- Required
Education:
Doctorate - Required Field of Study: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health or related field
The School of Public Health (SPH) is housed on the LSU Health Sciences Center–New Orleans campus. The Epidemiology and Population Health Program is nationally recognized for cancer research, community‑engaged research, and population health. The faculty collaborate with state and local health agencies and partner with other schools in the health science center.
