Overview
Lab Corp is a global leader in diagnostic testing, drug development, and healthcare innovation, working to improve health outcomes worldwide. In this role, you will supervise phlebotomy teams and enhance patient service quality across multiple sites.
Job Responsibilities- Supervise a team of over 25 phlebotomists in Patient Service Centers or physician offices.
- Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels, and information logs.
- Monitor monthly productivity and report deviations.
- Coordinate phlebotomists’ schedules and perform operational duties such as payroll and performance appraisals.
- Partner with Human Resources on employee relations and disciplinary actions.
- Hire and train new phlebotomists.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including patients, client office staff, sales teams, logistics, and senior management.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve patient/client issues.
- Assist in setting up new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices.
- Collect, prepare, and perform specimen processing as needed.
- Travel to additional sites as required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or people‑leader experience.
- At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or people‑leader experience.
- At least 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
- Proven track record in exceptional customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and an employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, casual, intern, or temporary positions receive 401(k) participation only. Employees on a 7‑on/7‑off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
