Base pay rangeLooking for a 13-week school SLP or SLPA position in New Orleans? This brand new school is looking for a SLP or SLPA to cover a 13-week maternity leave. Walk into a ready made schedule of K-8 students. This school has supportive staff, a dedicated therapy room and materials, low caseloads, and no case management as they have a team that handles all IEP scheduling and organization.
Spend a few months in a vibrant city and experience the culture, people, food, and excitement of Mardi Gras.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
- Current state licensure in good standing (or eligibility).
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Provide speech and language therapy in a school-based setting.
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver goal-aligned therapy.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams.
- Maintain compliant documentation per district, state, and federal guidelines.
