Job Description

The Registered Nurse should have a passion for severe mental illness and will be a part of the multi-disciplinary team that provides care to patients experiencing their first episode of psychosis at the Early Psychosis Intervention Clinic.

The Registered Nurse should have a passion for severe mental illness and will be a part of the multi-disciplinary team that provides care to patients experiencing their first episode of psychosis at the Early Psychosis Intervention Clinic.

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in outpatient settings
• Knowledge of computer programs for clinical data entry
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills
• Ability to work with a diverse population
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed

• Registered nurse with current Louisiana licensure by date of hire
• Two (2) years nursing experience including one (1) year of experience in an outpatient clinical setting
• Phlebotomy certification
• Experience with agencies where mental healthcare is delivered to adolescents and young adults
• Experience with care delivery to patients with psychotic disorders
