Staff Pharmacist

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and compliant dispensing of compounded medications while supporting daily pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and dispense compounded prescriptions in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Evaluate prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, dosing, drug interactions, allergies, and therapeutic accuracy.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during dispensing and compounding activities.
• Ensure compliance with USP , USP , USP , FDA Section 503A requirements, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Counsel patients and collaborate with prescribers to optimize therapy and resolve prescription questions.
• Verify compounded preparations, labeling, documentation, and quality standards before dispensing.
• Assist with inventory management, controlled substance compliance, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Contribute to workflow improvements and help maintain an efficient, patient-centered pharmacy operation.

Required Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a 503A compounding pharmacy.
• Sterile and/or non-sterile compounding experience.
• Familiarity with USP , USP , and USP .
