Description

• Reconcile daily I/P, OBS, and SDS discharges, ensuring a complete chart exists for each encounter.
• Analyze medical records for completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Track and manage physician deficiencies through the EHR deficiency module.
• Facilitate timely completion of medical records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Scan, index, and maintain documents within the electronic health record (EHR).
• Maintain, organize, retain, and destroy records in accordance with hospital retention policies.

• Process requests for protected health information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies.
• Verify patient identity and authorization prior to release of information.
• Coordinate with third-party ROI vendors for billable record requests.
• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of all medical record requests.

• Assist patients and representatives with patient portal access, enrollment, and troubleshooting.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year of relevant experience

Monday - Friday; 20 hours per week
