** to our healthcare team in  
** Natchitoches, LA** . As a  
** Registered Dietitian
** with  
** Cura Hospitality** , you will have the AMAZING opportunity to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals' nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient's/resident's goals.  This is a hybrid role. Experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated new graduates who are eager to learn and committed to success.

** What you'll be doing:*
* + Provide Nutrition Assessments for admissions, quarterly assessments, annual assessments, tube feedings, weight changes +/-4% in 1 month, wounds, and for significant change assessments (such as a hospice admission or a significant improvement in ADLs).

+ Nutrition education as needed and requested by residents.

+ Creation and quarterly updates on care plans for nurses/CNAs/CMAs to reference at meals and snacks to tailor to resident food preferences.

+ Completion of MDS (Minimum Data Sheets) for Section K and CAAs.

+ Use of the nutrition-focused physical exam to identify residents who meet criteria for malnutrition according to ASPEN Malnutrition Criteria.

+ Care conference meetings with families to update them on changes with the resident.

+ Collaboration with interdisciplinary team to provide resident-centered care during weekly clinical meetings.

+ QAPI Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Meetings each quarter.

+ Monthly Kitchen Inspections and Meal Service Audits
