About The Role

The Hospital Administrator in Bunkie at our Inpatient Behavioral Health Hospital plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and strategic management of the facility to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position requires leadership in coordinating between clinical staff, administrative teams, and external stakeholders to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and optimize operational efficiency. The administrator is responsible for budgeting, resource allocation, and implementing policies that support the hospital’s mission and goals.

They will also lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, staff engagement, and overall hospital performance. Ultimately, the role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement to uphold the hospital’s reputation as a trusted healthcare provider in the community.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital or healthcare facility management.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skill
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Behavioral Health or Business Administration.
  • LA State current RN license with no restrictions
  • Experience working in an inpatient hospital setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare IT solutions.
  • Certification such as Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
  • Demonstrated success in leading quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise all hospital departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to optimize hospital performance.
  • Coordinate with medical staff, nursing teams, and support personnel to enhance patient care quality.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient satisfaction metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and prepare for inspections and audits.

  • Represent the hospital in community outreach and partnership development activities.
