This is an on-site hourly rate for a Clinical Fellow (CF) Speech Language Pathologist. The CF will work directly with clients to assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders under the direction of an SLP. Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with other professionals, and documenting client progress. The role involves working with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental and cognitive challenges, to improve communication skills and overall quality of life.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Speech Therapy techniques and expertise in addressing speech disorders
- Experience in managing Dysphagia and related conditions
- Strong knowledge of Communication Disorders and approaches for effective intervention
- Expertise in diagnosing and treating Language Disorders
- Ability to create customized therapy plans based on individual client needs
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana- CF
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with families and professionals
- Experience working with clients with developmental disabilities, including autism, is a plus
- Commitment to evidence-based practices to achieve effective therapeutic outcomes
- Supervision includes up to 36 weeks or 1260 hours as long as you remain employed as a CF
