The ADRC Specialist provides telephone-based information, referral, and intake services to seniors, individuals with disabilities, caregivers, and families. Working under the ADRC Supervisor, this position helps callers identify their needs, access long-term care programs, and connect with appropriate community resources and services.
Key duties include answering client calls, conducting assessments and intake screenings, providing resource information, maintaining accurate records, ensuring confidentiality, and delivering high-quality customer service. The role requires strong communication, interviewing, and multitasking skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and data entry.
Candidates should have experience working with diverse populations, preferably possess knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care services, and maintain a valid Louisiana driver's license and automobile insurance. The position also requires the ability to perform routine physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds.
