We are looking for a Full Time Surgery Scheduler to join our team
What You'll Do- Verifying patient eligibility and coverage
- Scheduling surgeries, hospital procedures, and pre/post‑op appointments
- Discussing preoperative instructions with the patient, as directed by the physicians
- Obtaining all requested medical clearances, preoperative testing, lab and EKG results as indicated
- Additional duties as assigned
Education
- High school diploma or GED certificate, college (Preferred)
- Ability to preform multiple and diverse tasks with frequent interruption
- Working knowledge of medical insurances
- 1 year experience with physician group practice preferred
- EHR/EMR experience
- Experience as an MA, LPN, or RN a plus
- Collaborative and friendly work environment
